You will not be denied services if you are unable to pay. ICHS has a sliding scale discount to offset costs if you do not have health insurance or if your insurance does not cover all medications or services. Our sliding scale discount is based on your family size and income. At the time of your appointment, a patient service representative will ask you to complete an application to determine the discount amount. You will need to provide proof of income, such as a paper copy of your pay stub, unemployment check or benefit check, and the most recent copy of your tax return within five days. Additional documents may be required as needed.
Uninsured patients
We welcome all people, regardless of insurance status or income. If you do not have health insurance, we will help you determine if you qualify for a free or low cost plan, as well as your eligibility for other free health programs and services. Learn about ICHS’ insurance assistance.
Insured patients
We accept most insurance, including Washington Apple Health (Medicaid), Medicare and private plans. We require proof of insurance at the time of service.
