International Community Health Services (ICHS) Foundation raised $75,000 at the Honoring Teresita Batayola: AiPACE Clinic Naming Fundraiser, held on April 15, 2023 at the Wing Luke Museum. Approximately 100 guests attended to raise funds for the Aging in PACE Washington (AiPACE) capital campaign and to honor Teresita Batayola, President Emeritus and former ICHS CEO. Batayola served as CEO for 17 years at ICHS.

"It has been incredible to hear people’s stories and see the energy and love," said Christine Consolacion, Interim ICHS Foundation Executive Director. "We truly appreciate each and every one of you for honoring Teresita's leadership and standing alongside us in support of the AiPACE vision."

AiPACE will provide integrated health care to allow seniors to “age in place” while delaying or preventing the need for institutional care.

AiPACE will give families across our community the peace of mind. Throughout our history, ICHS has always had to create our own opportunities for advancing programs and services that truly serve our patients and communities. Together we continued that commitment.

Speakers that evening included Teresita's sister Maria Batayola, husband Dionnie Dionisio, and her daughter Ariana Dionisio.

Friends and colleagues from across Teresita’s professional career and leadership roles also spoke, including ICHS board of directors Cris Krisologo and Hiroshi Nakano, who were on the ICHS board when Teresita first became CEO in 2005.

"Being honored by naming a clinic in the new Aging in PACE site makes my heart full," said Teresita Batayola, President Emeritus and former ICHS CEO. "Thank you to all the friends who came and donated to provide comprehensive and coordinated services for the frail elderly. It is such an honor and a gift to have led and served ICHS."
